Biax Foundations, together with Australian manufacturer and innovation facilitator Holloway Group, are proud to announce that they have been recognised as a finalist with the HIA Awards in the Hunter Region for Product Innovation.
Each year, the Housing Industry Association (HIA) Awards showcases the top builders and designers across the residential building industry throughout Australia.
“We’re proud of how far we’ve come already, and what’s to come next,” says Biax General Manager, Jim Prior.
To be nominated within the Product Innovation category, as Biax is, a product must be available within the Australian market for a period of at least 24 months and entries must be supported by information addressing the design features, the degree of originality and the benefits and applications of the product in the housing industry.
Entries are then judged based on a product’s design features, its benefits and applications to the home building industry and the product’s degree of originality.
This is a humbling achievement for the entire Biax and Holloway Group team; and is recognition of the product’s aim to bring sustainable change to the building industry, one foundation at a time.
Biax represents the next generation of slabs and the future of residential foundations with its fully patented, eco and user-friendly system. Biax offers engineers, concreters and homeowners a smarter, more cost-effective foundation that’s easier to install, easier to handle on site and reduces overages in concrete and labour times dramatically.
Biax pods are 100% recyclable and made from up to 100% recycled polypropylene. They’re 100% polystyrene free, lightweight and are easily transported, making every stage of the install process easier and more sustainable than ever before.
A massive congratulations to all the HIA Award finalists this year and good luck!
